The down side
The thing that is the biggest flaw for this device is its price. At $349.99 it is a $100 more than other Blu-ray players. Apart from CD ripping feature all other features are available at a much lower cost. Another thing that goes against this product is itâs built and weight. It is very large in size and very heavy in weight while as nowadays slimmer and lighter products are preferred.
The bottom line
LG Blu-ray player has all the good things but the price is what makes it weak. It is priced at $349 and is available in the market at a rate that seems too much. A buyer always feels uneasy when the product is priced more than its value. LG BD690 is a solid player with all latest features but other brands give better options at lesser price like Samsung’s BD-700 which has Wi Fi and numerous applications is available at almost half of the LGBD690âs price. So the LG BD690 is better at overall comparison with other players although a lower price could have made more sale and popularity of this product.
