I recently bought myself a new ps3 hdmi but I am dealing with a problem that is I cannot update my ps3 and cannot play games because it says “An available HDMI device was detected. Do you want to output video and audio using HDMI?”. I configured the settings the way it was and everything seemed fine. The video worked in HD and the sound on the menu worked as well, but when i put in anything that is HD or blue ray, the audio doesn’t work. Watching a HD movie on Netflix won’t work. Playing a ps3 game won’t work. Bottom line, everything else works except those things, including my ps2 games . . If anyone can help, I sure would be grateful. Thank you.
