The LG Optimus Slider is available only in Black color and has an impressive battery life. The smart phone contains Virgin Mobile Live 2.0, a social networking applications, providing free access to live music performance videos, along with ‘Check In’ feature at special events. Also installed is the Andriod Market through which you can access multiple applications in a super-fast way on its 3G Sprint Network.
Price and availability
Apparently, the smart phone is set to be available in the market via Virgin Mobile beginning on 31st October through Best Buy and Radio Shack stores in the United States. It is fairly priced at $199.99 (Rs.9, 800/-) without contract.
While in India, the price of the LG Optimus Slider is yet to be announced.
The up side
The LG Optimus Slider’s keypad has its keys raised above the surface for easy texting. Additionally, its bright, sharp and colorful screen display, as well as fast connectivity and access to web, as well as applications, are some of its plus points.
The down side
Apart from its amazing features, the only thing that is disappointing, is its thick and bulky appearance, when compared to other lines of LG phones.
Our experience
In comparison to the new slim and slimmest smart phones available in the market today, this smart phone lags back in that feature with its heavy and bulky appearance. But none-the-less, if its other characteristics are taken into consideration, LG Optimus Slider is not a bad deal after all.

LG Optimus Slider is yet to make its entry in the U.S. market this month and will be soon launched in India. As it is priced at a minimal cost with such amazing features, it’s a good bargain.
