Nokia unveiled the all new Lumia 900 at the Mobile World Congress 2012, which was held in Barcelona. It was also awarded as Best Feature Phone. Nokia has announced that they will be soon shipping the non 4G version of the phone to countries which don’t have a 4G network yet; Indian market being one of them will receive the phone too. The Dual Cell high speed packet access will operate on the existing 3G, providing a better Internet speed.
Nokia Lumia 900 has a revolutionary design and it works on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Lumia 900 is the first Windows Phone by the manufacturer. The 4.3 inches AMOLED screen has a spectacular resolution of 800×480. In the engine the phone has 1 GHz Snapdragon chipset along with 512 MB RAM and 16 GB of storage space. Along with all this, it also supports NFC.
On the back side, there is an 8 megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture. The phone also has an LED flash. The phone can capture videos in high definition at 720p with 30 frames per second. The secondary camera for video calls, missing in the previous models (Lumia 800 and 710) is incorporated in Lumia 900.
The phone would shortly be available in the market with a price tag around Rs. 32,000. The actual price has not been declared yet. However with the booming Indian market and looking at these attractive specs, the phone is expected to have good sales in India.
