Nokia has finally divulged all the necessary details about the launch of its phone model Lumia 710 in US. With speculations taking a massive toll on everyone around, it was getting harder to resist the Lumia’s charm. The date finalized for the new market entrant has been decided as January 11, 2012. Available for a neat price of $49.99, a 2 year contract and calling plan facility, T-Mobile has taken up the task of of marketing the cool contraption. The Finnish Mobile corporation, Nokia, has tied up with Windows for making and crafting this gadget.

Lumia 710 has been fixed with a 3.7 inch ClearBlack WVGA screen, a 5mp camera (which redefines clarity in a different way) and an 8GB storage space. While all these features add a subtle grace to the phone’s existence, extra features like HD video recording, usual connectivity options and the MSM8255 SnapDragon platform add to the authenticity of the device. This is not all, for the phone incorporates within it a 1.4 GHz single core-processor, Adreno 205 graphics and a 512 RAM for faster processing.

So, as mentioned above, Windows has lent the phone its OS, 7.5 Mango which makes Lumia all the more different from its counter parts and competitors. Included within the package are a set of time maps, navigation tools and apps like Netflix, Windows Phone Office Hub and Xbox’s live apps. For appeasing the kid in you, the Xbox app allows you to control your gaming console with the phone, making you experience excitement on a different level.

Adding to the list of neat features is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G internet connectivity. Having so many features all rolled into one actually makes the phone more of a dream gadget rather than any ordinary device.

Basically, Lumia is supposed to be available in only two shades for the time being- black and white. Nokia has contrasted the look of the phone in a very convenient way. When the whole outlook of the phone is black, the battery cover shall be white and vice versa. We can safely say that Nokia surely knows how to make its phones and devices attractive to the eye.

To lay hands on the phone, all you need to do is send in a $50 mail-in rebate and the gadget would be delivered to your place.
