The guys at Google seem to be obsessed with food (especially desserts). While they have multiple options to choose from Checkerboard Torte and Hawaiian Delight, they have decided to serve Android consumers with a ‘Key Lime Pie’ after the Jelly Bean. The news about the future Android version has leaked out early as Google is still on its way to launch its 5.0 version to be called as Jelly Bean.

If you would have noticed closely, you would realize all Android versions have the names of desserts followed in alphabetical order from Cupcake to Ice Cream Sandwich. It is still difficult to tell a number of things such as when will the Key Lime Pie version of Android will be launched and whether or not it will be the 6.0 version of Android. Considering the fact that Google has decided to move slow with updates on Android as manufacturers of Android phone are struggling to launch their gadgets with latest versions of Android. Ice Cream Sandwich is still not available to a large number of markets and the number of phones running on it is dismal. It looks like Google has a lot to learn from its rival Apple regarding how to tightly couple and control the hardware and software of mobile gadgets to keep your customers hungry and excited.
