Im working as a MD in a reputed firm and would like to share my problem here. Im having problem while closing Vista Media Center i.e. when switching between the tv and the projector i need to change the resolution. In order to do so i have set a hotkey for each of the resolutions using Nvidia RivaTuner and programmed the MCE “Red” and “Blue” (using IntelliRemote) to switch between the resolutions. However, for some reason when the computer switches the resolution while the Media Center is running the change does not have any effect. Minimizing the Media Center and then reopening it immediately solves the problem. Everything also works great when the Media Center is closed. Until i figure out what’s wrong with Vista i want to program my remote to close the Media Center application before switching the resolution and then re-open it. Im unable to find the problem so need an best alternative to overcome this problem. All answers are welcome.
