All the rumors that claimed the delay of Motorola Droid Bionic were proven wrong when a commercial aired in television confirmed the official release date. The Motorola Droid Bionic was launched on 8th September officially. The phone’s release was expected from a long time as it was touted as one of the best smartphones to be released in the market.

Motorola Droid Bionic is an Android based smartphone that would work on both 2G and 3G networks. Droid Bionic has dimensions of 125.9×66.8×13.3mm and weighs just 158 gm. The brilliant looking phone has dual core 1GHz ARM processor, a GeForce GPU and a Tegra 2 AP20H chipset.

Although there is not enough information on the price of the phone, there is confirmed news that Motorola would be launching its Droid Bionic on September 8th. The price is still a big question but there are unconfirmed reports that it would released at a price of $600 for a handset without any contracts and with a contract the price might get dropped to just $300.

The phone is a good option for those who want to have a smartphone for business purposes as well as entertainment. The huge internal memory makes it ideal phone to keep large number of video and music files. The fast processor helps to run multiple applications. The phone overall has a neat look and Wi-Fi when tested took just over 3 seconds to load a heavy page. The 8 MP is just a plus when compared to the other smartphones.

Motorola Droid Bionic could be one of the best smartphones available right now. The speed is just great and you feel like browsing or running applications all day. The dual core processor has a magic about it that is surely one of the biggest plus of this phone. If Verizon gives a good price, this could definitely provide a tough competition to its other counterparts like iPhone and Galaxy SII.
