The unique map application by Google has triggered a desire to the Apple Company to launch its own map application as soon as the former hit Apple’s iStore.  The map app by Apple was criticised for its poor quality and so has been bound to gather some information to improve it, according to Wall Street Journal. People from Foursquare Labs Inc. have started discussions with the company men for integration of some of the local data and business listings.

Apple senior vice president Eddie Cue has decided to take up this decision in order to make the gadget more useful to users. They will not have to install the map app separately since an in-built map from Apple would already be there.

Already a whooping ten million users have already registered to the Google Maps on the first few days of its launch in the Apple iStore. The technology to give driving directions of places you hardly know is something which is quite an attraction for millions of people. This application lacks in Apple phones. Street views are also given on Google map apps which is a limitation for the latter.

Launching of Apple maps were already in talks since September when the CEO realised its flaws for not having the unique app. When the company brought forward i0S6, there was a lot of trouble with the app for people who were using it. They criticised its quality for not meeting the requirements which Google map did. So, a decision was made to enhance the tools and launch a better model with advanced Apple maps to meet the satisfaction of the public.

“We are in talks with the Lab Inc. to improvise on the model that we launched in September. Many more features would be added along with the enhanced feature for the maps which will not only give directions to various places, but also provide the user with excellent street views of the whole city,” CEO of Apple Company, Tim Cook said on Wednesday.

He even apologised for the inconvenience caused to the customers with navigation errors and promised to correct them with great care this time.

Reuters could not get in touch with Apple’s CEO since their huge mistake of the mapping techniques and so had to face embarrassment from critics and customers. It only became calm after the company negotiated with the lab to build newly improved gadgets with more features of the map app.
