Close on heels of Apple iPhone 5 rumors, come rumors of Samsung launching a phone so powerful that it is named after the mythical man with superhuman powers- Hercules. Samsung’s Hercules is rumored to be the next iPhone killer and the buzz has it that it is more powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S II.
According to sources, the phone marries the best features and technology of Samsung’s Galaxy S II and Infuse 4G. It is rumored to have a 4.5 Super Amoled Plus touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution. It is likely to be powered by a 1.2/1.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor with 1 GB RAM. It will run on Android 2.3. Although there is no official word out on its release date, the Hercules will most likely be released in September, around the time iPhone 5 is slated to release.
