The ‘Consumer Electronics Show’ held in second week of January 2012, has turned out to be a huge success. To everybody’s surprise, the exhibition showcased immense collection of gadgets for the kids. Parents were quite happy to grab glimpses of the most innovative and advanced gadgets at the stalls. Few of those gadgets are based on providing a better education through visual training methods, while others are designed to provide fun and entertainment through interesting games and animations. Some of the unparalleled gadgets launched for the kids are mentioned below.

1. Hello Kitty tablet for kids

 

The Sakar International Electronics manufacturer has showcased a modern Hello Kitty tablet at the CES 2012. The tablet has a 7 inch touch screen with a resolution size of 800 X 400 pixels. It runs on Android Gingerbread version 2.3. Like other devices, Hello Kitty also possesses two cameras. Apart from the volume controls, this tablet has only one button which could be used for switching back to the previous screen. The device could be connected to a personal computer or any other external device via a mini-USB port. To everybody’s surprise, this tablet features a HDMI port that makes the device compatible with LCD and LED monitors.

2. Kid-Tough portable DVR

Fisher price has unveiled a sturdy gadget that could record programs from your television. The recorded programs could be viewed later through the 3.5 inch screen. This device has external speakers to play audio tracks in stereo format. Headphones can also be plugged in with this device. It has a capacity to record 2 hours of video contents with the default storage space. However, the capacity of its recording time is expandable, as it uses micro-SD memory cards. Parents can entertain their kids, as well as keep them away from the expensive electronic items through this device.

7. Crayola and Griffin team up again with iOS Apps and Accessories

Crayola and Griffin have partnered together to launch their latest application and accessories at the CES, 2012. Crayola Lights, camera, color HD application allow the kids to convert a picture into a coloring page. They can color the pictures with digital brushes, pencils, markers and crayons. This universal application is compatible with iPhone and iPad. ‘Crayola color clickers’ is a protective case with attractive stripe designs.
