Designed by Wayne Ching during his studies in Melbourne as part of the Reece BIA contest in 2012, What-a-turn project focuses on the sustainable idea of saving resources by merging bathroom components having supply from one water source to create a whole new bathroom experience while saving bathroom space. The concept of recycling and reuse has been integrated through a rotatable faucet that functions for both sink and bathtub.
The components of What-a-turn draw inspiration from nature and feature two simple stacked circular forms and an additional circular motion created by the rotatable faucet. What-a-turn aims to raise awareness in terms of functionality and usability in the modern setting.
