Traveling with toddlers is always a painstaking task. However some parents love traveling and make all the possible arrangements when they have to travel with their toddler. Some children love the concept of sitting in their car seats and watching the scenes go past the window when the car is moving. However when traveling for long hours, they tend to get irritated and cranky. At this time, toys are required to keep them occupied and entertained. 1. Hardboard Books
Toddlers are always interested in colorful pictures and books. Carry a few of these colorful hardboard books which the baby can hold and look at the pictures. You can even take small story books available in hardboard covers and read out to the toddler while traveling. Hard board books come in various shapes and sizes. You get alphabets, numbers, wild animal pictures, vehicles, etc in these hardboard books. Choose those books which are very colorful and would interest your child.
2. Stuffed toys
Stuffed toys are the most convenient toys when traveling. They are soft and the baby can hold it and play with it for long hours. You can even create stories using 2 or more stuffed toys and entertain the baby. He or she is sure to be happy seeing his familiar stuffed toys when on the move. Stuffed toys are available in all colors and shapes. You can buy your child’s favorite stuffed toy animal or cartoon character and give it to him as a surprise when you are on the move. There are large pieced puzzles available for toddlers in the market. The pieces have magnets attached to them, which get attached to the board. 5. Paper and stickers
You can hand the toddler with a set of stickers and some paper. You can involve yourself and make collages when traveling with the toddler. You can even give him a sketch pen and paper to color and draw. This would also entertain the kid.
