Zeus, the Great Dane from Otsego, Michigan, USA holds the world record of tallest dog ever. He measured 111.8 cm and weighed around 70.3 kg. Zeus was five years old when he died due to old age since the lifespan for this breed is six to eight years. People could not help staring at him whenever he went out with his owner. (Source)

The world’s smallest dog in height, Miracle Milly measured only 9.65 cm tall. It weighed only one pound at the time of its birth and could easily fit in a teaspoon. It had a very small mouth and was fed through an eyedropper. (Source)

Melanie Typaldos from Texas owns a capybara, the largest rodent on planet. Caplin Rous is enormous in size but is an inseparable part of the family. Caplin came to the family when it was only 11 days old and since then it has become everyone’s favorite. Jiff holds two world records; he can run fastest on two legs (10m on hind legs in 6.56 seconds and 5m on front paws in 7.76 seconds). This record holding run does not come easy; Jiff practices his walk almost every day. To your amazement, Jiff can ride a skate and even stamp his own autograph. Poppy, from Bournemouth is the oldest cat alive. It is 24 years old as recognized by Guinness World Records. Poppy’s owner Jacqui has four cats, two rabbits and a hamster. However, Jacqui says that Poppy has a special place amongst the lot and she keeps proving that whenever the other one in the group tries to cross the limit. Poppy has grown old but somehow keeps going strong. The owner says that it eats a lot and exercises by moving all over the place in the house. (Source)

In Los Angeles, Anne Marie Avey and Eric Rosario’s pet Colonel Meow, a cat set a world record of having longest hair on a cat. The length of her fur was 22.87cm, which is incredibly lengthy for a cat. (Source)
