A special blanket designed and created by Helena Loermans is here as a respite to infants and toddlers. Sound sleep is of paramount importance for the young ones that crucially depends on comfortable temperature. This handwoven blanket has been made from special material to maintain the optimum temperature and expel moisture. Thus, it remains warm in the cold weather while keeping dry in the warm weather. This one blanket can now replace the many sheets or blankets that the baby would otherwise require.
Geeky design and concept
The blanket has been made from a combination of high quality Merino wool and Polypropylene. It has been made large and wide so that it never falls short of the necessary length. The fabric used in the manufacture has been called Climayarn (Schoeller). The specialty of this quilt is that it dries quickly and is easy to maintain with a machine wash only. The temperature and humidity controller ensures that the moisture is expelled from the insides to the outside air. At the same time, when necessary, it retains moisture to prevent dryness and keeps the baby warm and cozy within. When most of the babies roll in discomfort due to the humidity caused by their own sweat, this blanket will remove all such irritants.
Why is it great?
The blanket eliminates the need for any other kind of sheets or blankets. Usually, one adds more blankets to cover the baby in winter while in the summer, the blanket is replaced by something that is thin and made of cotton. Even then, there is no way to be rest assured that the sweating of the baby is taken care of. All these can now be replaced by a single blanket.
The blanket is not only easy and comfortable for the baby, it is a breeze when it comes to its maintenance. Washing blankets at home can be cumbersome and tedious experience. This special blanket can be easily machine washed. Since it is quick drying, it is ready for use again within a couple of hours after the wash.
