Designed by Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architects in Seattle, the Rolling Huts are eco friendly huts on wheels that are sure to interest campers and nature lovers alike. Located in Methow Valley, USA, these Rolling Huts boast a low-tech design and offer magnificent views of the surroundings, while having minimal impact on the environment. The site where the six Rolling Huts are located was once a RV campground. The four big wheels lift each Rolling Hut above the meadow to offer unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains.
Each Rolling Hut features a microwave, small refrigerator, fireplace, Wi-Fi connectivity, sleeping platform for two, an adjacent portable toilet and modular furniture in the living area. A barn located nearby has full bathrooms and showers. The Rolling Huts are available on rent for $135 per night for two.
