Firefighters, while saving forests, wildlife, people and our possessions against fire, subject their lives to extreme dangers. They wrestle with suffocation, extreme heat and lack of communication. In order to help them, Respro, a new generation of respiratory equipment, is specially conceptualized for them. The concept involves five spheres carrying compressed air, and a flexible shield to connect these.
The flexible tubes and straps are woven into the jacket so that these don’t catch fire. Innovative Smart-Clothes-Technology is instrumental in regulating the internal temperature of the system and never allows it to go beyond an unacceptable limit. Moreover, the system ably switches to an air supply when it’s most required. A coordinating unit can monitor the location and the physical constitution of the firefighter via Bluetooth.
