Prostaff develops Miletto, a zero-emission hybrid scooter

the miletto

Prostaff Co. Ltd., the renowned auto equipment manufacturer, has designed a zero-emission hybrid scooter that is capable of running 10 times as economically as a gas-engine bike. Dubbed the Miletto, the Japanese scooter can even run by human pedal power. This eco-friendly vehicle offering a green ride can run 35kms on a fully charged battery.

The Miletto gives you the opportunity to stay healthy by pedaling whenever you feel like, while at other times you can take the benefit of the battery power. A 2- to 4-hour charge is enough to juice up the battery to full capacity. A completed charged battery will allow you to cover a distance of 35kms on a flat road, which means you spend only one yen for every 3kms. Coming in 12 vibrant shades, the eco-bike will make its debut in 2010 and will cost 156,900 yen ($2,422).
