Technology provides entertainment fun and time pass to youngster’s parents as well as people of old age but have created a distance between the people of one family.

Tablets and smart phones help in distracting children and also provide help when the children are upset and the parents need to cheer the children up these technologies form a kind of a bribe to the youngster. It is also used for stick and carrot method to lure children towards good behaviour or punish them for any kind of bad behaviour. With the invention and innovation of technology, phone tracking using GPS is also available for the parents to track down their children and come to know where their children are. These technologies have in one way help the parents to assist their children in their homework because any form of help required are available with the newest technologies these days. On the other hand they make the students lazy because every answer is available and the students are spoon-fed. This is the reason students have stopped thinking and using their brains and have become laid back. This gives the parents a tough time and they keep searching new ways as to how to make their child intelligent and active.

In this digital age the rules and regulations which were applied to the children of earlier times have become faulty now and the rules such as not talking to strangers have become a myth because of the social networking sites and forums available to all youngsters because of the digital technologies. Kids these days have myriad apps, websites, games and every day they find something new to pass their time with and not focus on their studies or family.
