Should parent allow tween to watch breaking dawn part 1?

For anybody who has in some way managed to stay away from the movie Twilight, the most fundamental plot of the movie is the same old cliché of a girl (Bella Swan) meets boy (Edward Cullen), but with a twist. The twist here is that the hunk of a boy turns out to be a hundred year old blood sucking vampire. Of course there is a love triangle as customary in all mush stories, the other contestant being the girl’s best friend (Jacob Black). Now, since this story is a niche away from normal, the best pal turns out to be a werewolf who is a sworn enemy of the vampires. The love story is quite intense with a lot of devout passion shown between the two unconventional lovers. However, sometimes it tends to get a bit on the obsessive side when a young teenage girl is projected to be able to consistently lie to her folks and friends, stop eating and sleeping and intentionally puts herself in risky conditions just to lure her boyfriend back. However, the three earlier parts of the Twilight saga had something innocent and beautiful in its movies, even though it had gory images of blood sucking vampires and ferocious fights between the wolves and the cold ones. Breaking Dawn part 1 is said to be of a more matured subject matter and thus can be filled with more sexual strain, brutality and yes… Of course, the most awaited sex scene between a human and a vampire.

Why not!!

The Twilight Saga has been written by Stephanie Meyer with teens in her mind. So, the very audience has to be from the adolescent groups. Why should Breaking Dawn I be any different even if it has some controversial scenes or a grown up theme? Of course, the movie can be watched by parents before their kids are able to see it. But, remember this, the world is full of much scarier realities all the kids are definitely aware of. They can also be a cognizant to a little bit of flavored fantasy. Honestly, our kids have seen more frightening stuff in other movies or even animation. The songs they hear or the games they play sometimes have even more explicit material than maybe the entire movie by itself.

An absolute no!!

Breaking Dawn I has a lot of adult matter in it. A tween’s changeover to a teen is as it is quite disconcerting and showing them a movie rampant with grown-up subject does not help at all. Even if we are open in our relationships, as parents we do have to implement a little bit of watchfulness on our children’s behalf. This movie is something else all in all; I mean who would want their kids to watch bed shattering passion and Bella’s bruises, an aftermath of intense sex between the mortal and the immortal. Why should a teenager be allowed to watch gruesome scenes like Edward doing a C-sec with his teeth on Bella which almost kills her? This comes down right to the level of a horror movie and most horror movies are not meant for kids below eighteen.
