Hurricane Dean ready for Mexico

Hurricane Dean ready for Mexico

Hurricane Dean is threatening to hit Gulf of Mexico after having pounced Jamaica and the Caribbean. As Mexico prepares itself for the torment ahead, Jamaica starts to face category 5 of the fury.

After devastating Jamaica, Hurricane Dean is set for another smash at Mexico and Belize. With stormy thunder winds reaching around 160miles/hr, Hurricane Dean smashed Jamaica with thunderstorms, hailstorms and blaze, throwing life out of gear. After having been pounded by the storm that claimed several lives, Jamaicans are trying to sort out means to quench their hunger for days to come, few even are on a looting spree for the lack of relief measures.

And as Dean is set to shatter Yucatan Peninsula, authorities seem to be bewildering as how to put to halt the normal chores. Preparation for tough time ahead has started with disaster management measures already out.

Tourist spots have been evacuated, people have been provided shelter in makeshift homes away from the eye of the storm, which can grade anything from high-rise buildings to trees, smashing roads to railways, shattering power poles to highways.

Jamaica is already in the grip of the hurricane resulting from differential rate of temperature between sea surface and surface above during summer season in North Atlantic. Gulf of Mexico becomes the victim every season the hurricane strikes because of its location in a swirl.

However, it has been noticed that the intensity and recurrence of storms, blaze, and hurricanes has increased for quite some time, pointing the needle towards warming of the globe. Especially after Hurricane Katrina that struck the Gulf coast in 2005 is a grim reminder of tough time ahead.
