If you are planning to visit Belgium anytime soon, there is something you might want to try other than the yummy Belgian chocolates…spending a night at the Hotel CasAnus. When you first see this hotel, you might say this place is simply crap. Located between Antwerp and Ghent in Flanders, Belgium, the Hotel CasAnus is shaped and designed like a giant human digestive system.
Designed by the Dutch artist Joep van Lieshout, the CasAnus looks weird from outside, but has everything inside to make your stay comfortable. There are double beds, showers and central heating. As for the exteriors, it looks simply weird and there is even a giant replica of an anus at the rear to add to the weirdness. Belgian art lovers Geert and Carla Verbeke-Lens, who run the Hotel CanAsus, say that many travelers love to spend their vacation inside their ‘unique’ human colon.
A night at the Hotel CanAsus costs a mere 120 Euros and that’s a reasonable price to pay for experiencing some ‘good’ time inside giant human colon.
