Carbon dioxide emissions are said to have been increasing by three per cent a year this decade, compared to a 1.1 per cent a year rise in the 1990s! This is a significant increase in the rise, and definitely needs a serious consideration for a remedy across the world.
The developing countries need to take wholesome initiative to help combat global warming, as three quarters of this rise came from them, China ranking at the top position in the emission-creating list.
