Our world is changing and with it our concept of life and home are changing as well. According to the experts of urban dwellings, within a couple of hundred years the way we live and where we live will completely change. The image that you generally consider a home made with four walls and a roof will change as well. Architects and designers are already working hard to come up with future model homes that do not enclose your life but rather give you the freedom to live where you want.

At present we all say that the home is where the heart is but in the future we might just say that where your heart is that’s your home. The future homes will be empowered with the renewable sources of power and energy. They will be flexible and accommodate your needs in a better way. In the following, we have listed the top five future home concepts.

Tornados are the worst threats to your home and life. In a blink of the eye, a powerful tornado can wreck havoc and demolish your beautiful house. Architect Ted Givens has designed a perfect tornado proof home. He works for the company 10Design of Hong Kong. The house is coated with Kevlar. Hydraulic levers are used for bringing it down on the ground when the tornado is moving through the region. The home is both water and air proof during storms and tornado attacks. When the turbulent winds have passed, your home will unfold.

The Wolke 7:

The Wolke 7 is a flying home concept designed by designer Timon Sager who lives in Switzerland. Strong cables will help in suspending the home. It consists of beautiful decks and luxurious bedrooms. The space has been used intelligently to give you ultimate comfort.
