Making a perfect style statement is the Cannondale Dutchess. This new bicycle on the block is here to make a mark with its innovative and classy design. Designed by Wytze van Mansum for his graduation project at the Delft University of Technology, the bike has been designed keeping in mind the smart, stylish and eco-conscious urban women of today’s time.
Keeping to the tradition of Cannondale, this stunning beauty also weighs under 14kgs. The bicycle is connected from the handlebars to the tail light with a beautiful arch that enhances its aesthetics. The rear fender behaves like a structural part of the frame and holds the carrier with a load of up to 50kgs.
The Cannondale Dutchess comes with enclosed gearing and transmission to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. To compensate for brake pad wear, the hub brakes are self-adjustable, and since the brake lines are integrated into the frame, they can double act as wheel locks by folding the levers into the handlebars. It includes adjustable handlebars offering different riding positions and can be folded, making it easier to store. In addition, the bike also incorporates a modular luggage solution, kickstand and a pedal assist.
