Two talented Australian designers, Ben Landau and Brittany Veitch, are out with bio-accessories, a series of wearable fashionable items masking the not so pleasant sights, sounds and scents of a city, while bringing some of the natural world back into civil living. Each piece incorporates a living organism creating a symbiotic relationship with the wearer.
Bio-accessories provide an unusual take on the wearable garments representing portable natural environment blending perfectly with fashion. To feel our connection with Mother Nature more closely, these accessories could prove to be a great way. They are presently on display at the City Library as part of Craft Victoria’s Craft Cubed.
