Wisconsin-based industrial designer Ben McGinley has come up with a unique air filter that uses sunlight to purge the air of its impurities. Dubbed as Aura Organic Air Filtration, the system utilizes plants that purify air of toxins like volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, benzene and carbon monoxide.
The venturi-shaped contraption follows a mechanism that makes leaves and roots of plants it contains usable in the process. Next, the sunlight provides the much-needed air flow that hovers through the filtration areas.
