Alex Fraser Group unveils a $45 million construction and demolition (C&D) materials recycling facility in Victoria, Melbourne. With an annual capacity of approximately one million ton, the state-of-the-art facility, dubbed as the Western Metropolitan Recycling Facility, employs the smartest design and most innovative technology on hand to recycle the C&D materials.
We used the combined experience and expertise of our team to custom-build this plant to achieve new standards in productivity, operator safety, energy efficiency and product quality.
Says the Alex Fraser Group managing director Jamie McKellar, while he highlights that they are the Australia’s leading construction and demolition materials recycler. The Melbourne plant specifically draws on the dual jaw crushers, a multi-layered separation system, computerized technology and a high capacity pug mill and load out system. The company runs six major recycling centers in Victoria and Queensland with a combined annual capacity of about four million tons.
