Tiger is resurfacing in India, as per the finding in Sahyadri, where 20 tigers were spotted during the ongoing tiger census, thrilling, confusing and amazing the conservationists, according to who, the area is the most vulnerable to tiger habitat destruction and poaching. But, how this group of tigers braved the attacks remains a tinkling question.

indian tiger needs conservation

India’s national animal, Tiger, remains on the hitlist of poachers, who kill the animal for skin, hide, claws, nails and what not. Almost the entire body of the big cat fetches huge amounts of money, prticularly for its usage in medicine. This is the reason that the tiger number has dwindled from almost 40,000 to around 2000 for the last few decades, what a terrible mess?

The natural beauty of nature lies in its flora and fauna that inspired many poets and writers to pen anecdotes and rhymes signalling the natural marvel, however, the present situation is nothing more than a tiger crisis in the country that is increasingly becoming a prey for poachers and wildlife enemies. It is up to the government to protect the natural heritage by rigorous conservation efforts, if we want our coming generations to feel nature as it is.
