I want to know whether wine calories is less than the original grape juice it was made from?

Hi all, let’s say you take a gallon of Welch’s grape juice and add yeast. After fermentation is complete, and alcohol is produced, does the resulting wine calories is less than the original juice? If so, what percentage less? In other words – does fermentation reduce the calorie content of a juice? Please give me information about this. I have been curious on this topic but I am not able to find any relevant information on this.
