Personality disorder cases rises in UK

Almost 5 percent people in the UK are facing the problem of personality disorder. The research finds that men are more likely to suffer from disorders than women. The most common condition is obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). An estimated two million people, including David Beckham, are the patients of OCD.

The British Journal of Psychiatry conducted this study. It established that those who had been in care and left isolated later are the main sufferers. They were at 3 times risks to suffer from paranoid disorders.

Antisocial personality disorder is also more common in men than women. On the other hand paranoid personality disorders are more common among divorced, unemployed people and the people of low income group.
