'Eradicated' diseases make comebacks in U S

Puffy necks, headaches, fever and, swollen testicles problems are being common problems in the students of Iowa College. Public health officials are trying to understand about the outbreak of this disease after so many years in US. It can cause deafness, encephalitis and male sterility in the youth.

The Midwest mumps outbreak is more surprising because it has largely affected the first generation of young adults. And they had at least two doses of the vaccine of measles, mumps and rubella. Health experts have a view that the outbreak ought to help focus new consideration on the need to vaccinate youth.

The spread of germs finds the ideal conditions in the college campuses. On many college campuses, vaccinations are recommended but not mandated. All youngsters should get a booster of a new tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis vaccine. Half of the states which include Iowa, do not have pre college vaccination requirements in place. These rules should leave to colleges to enforce.
