Australian Government to subsidize 'Herceptin' for Breast cancer patients

Breast cancer patients now do not have to step back from buying the expensive Herceptin, as federal government of Australia has decided to subsidize its cost.

Herceptin proves effective by providing 50 per cent of survival chances. Therefore, women patients need not worry as their problem is paid due attention and now they have to pay just $30 per dose rather than $1000 from first of October this year.

The proposal of the government tends to be praiseworthy, providing relief to the patients and allowing them to avail cheap treatment along with long survival chances. Thanks to the government of Australia for better understanding and considering cancer patients’ problem.
