Americans in the grip of 'Road Rage' disorder

According to a survey conducted among 9,282 U.S, it was discovered that the people addicted to horn-blasting tailgater are in actual fact afflicted with ‘Road Rage’, which is highly common and affecting approximately sixteen million Americans and named — ‘intermittent explosive disorder’ by the doctors in other way.

People, who are not aware of it, think that it is bad behaviour, and requires only an attitude adjustment. But, actually there is a cognitive and biology science to this, which they are not known to! Road rage or temper outbursts are comprised with breaking or throwing objects. Even spousal abuse could on-and-off be associated to the disorder, although not everyone who does these things can be said in the grip of ‘Road Rage’.

By definition, ‘intermittent explosive disorder’ consists of various sudden occurrences, which are way out-of-proportion to the condition. These angry outbursts frequently comprise belligerent or threat actions and damage of property. The disorder first pops up in adolescence, and according to the study, the average age of commencement was fourteen.
