Afghanistan and Pakistan have joined hands to set up five check posts with an aim to screen children for polio and provide them polio drops so that polio could be eliminated from the soil of these two countries.
Most of the countries have managed to eradicate polio, still there are some countries that are moving on with polio cases and among such countries, we may easily count Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Pakistan.
Joint resolution made by countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan is a commendable step and we can expect positive and instant results.
