A 7-year-old boy's unprotected heart will get surgery soon in China

A seven-year-old boy is suffering from a complicated heart defects such as a complex series of defects including inborn heart disease and sternum deformities. He is all set to get a surgery soon by Chinese surgeons.

The boy, Chen Jiakun, is not able to run. He cannot even cry. He does not have the breastbone or the muscle that protects the heart. He is suffering from ‘Pentalogy of Cantrell’.

About ten doctors at Shanghai Children’s Hospital are ready to perform this milestone surgery. A large mass contains his heart and intestines. Anyone can see his heart beating under the skin.

The chief surgeon Jia Bing says, we are very much confident to make the child complete healthy.
