I wanted to know that if a laser range finder with a 905 nm Infrared laser pointed at a police lidar gun will it jam the signal. For me it seems impractical, but really interested to know the theory of operation. Will it work or does it have to be pulsed at a certain frequency to jam the lidar? Or, will it simply overwhelm the lidar speed gun since its being directly aimed at the lidar gun and in theory the lidar gun couldn’t see the reflection from the beam itâs emitting? If you have any idea please share with me. thank you.
