I recently opened up my computer’s heat sink and cleaned it out with a vacuum cleaner. Although I re-installed it exactly as it was before, the computer reports OVERHEATING (reaches ~97̊ C) problem often (thrice in 2 hours). Is it because the surface of the thermal grease (applied when the computer was built first) has ruptured as both the surfaces separated?or the paste I have put is in large quqntity pls help me out with it because if not overlooked my computer might get burned and even get distorted.
