Everybody seems to be wondering what the 3G iPhone will look like and we are pretty tired with numerous photoshopped images ranging from sliders to candybar designs, some even with keypads doing the rounds. So we finally found a ‘possible’ iPhone design that looks a little plausible. The 3G iPhone might have a thicker design and will probably give metal the boot and come in an all plastic outer garb. This is quite possible as the 3G iPhone is touted to come with GPS and an extra camera for video conferencing on the front panel. All this additional hardware might necessitate a some more space beneath the panels which just about explains the fatter design.
This apart, the 3G iPhone will probably retain the shape of its first-gen sibling but would now come with rounded edges as more plastic abounds. The headphone jack will sit flush in the design and the volume keys might sport a chrome finish. All said and done, Apple hasn’t come out and confirmed any of this news. So, it is back to hoping for the best as Apple, in the past has more often made last minute radical changes and surprised all of us.
