Winter White is Always Right

Winter White is Always Right

It is that time of the year again ladies! With the Fall over, Thanksgiving done and Christmas and the New Year just ‘round the corner, there is a good chance that you are beating your head over what to wear, especially in terms of color!

After all, what colors to choose that will most certainly strike the right chord with the Festive spirit, while looks cozy and great without being done to death, correct?

For too long now, people have come up with this ridiculous trend to stick to solid colors, especially during this part of the year. One word love, screw the rules?

What is it that you want the most? Especially if you like neutrals?

The answer is simple; the color of snow and the season; Winter White!

Why White

One simple reason ladies; it will stand out! What with everyone going berserk about dressing in colorful outfits, which usually border the purple, the plum, the red, the green and occasionally the black, your winter white outfit will simply stand out in the crowd!

Since you love neutrals, any look with the dominance of winter white will set off your appearance nicely enough, what with the trench coats and the sweaters, against the background of the blustery and bleak snow.

Right Make Up to Go with

Who says there is only one way to make your appearance spirited and fit for the winter months? While it is best if you experiment with Winter White a lot, spice your appearance with the correct make up and jewelry.

With Winter White, think of Red Lipstick, period! There is a good chance that most of your appear slightly reddened, especially if you do a lot of activities. Use that to your advantage and instead of toning it up with foundation, tone it down with simple compact powder and do not forget to highlight your eyes. For the lips, apart from red you should think along the lines of plum and velvety berry shades, with a hint of gloss.

Experimenting with White Outfits

Keep it simple ladies! Try something tight for the bottoms, say jeans or thick leggings with your white, either in ivory shades or off white or beige tinged, uppers, which could be anything from cable knit sweaters, to dresses to trench, military, pea coats or similar and do not forget gloves and boots.

Stick to beige and camel colored hues for gloves and boots. You can also do something like black. Try scarves that colorful or cunningly printed. And if you like, throw in white colored jewelry or stones, say pearls and sterling white.
