Diggerland has a chain of four theme parks in England, mainly located in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire. It has a country walk and indoor soft play. Kids and adults both get an opportunity of driving real construction machines, under the expert and safe supervision of trained staff. You don’t need to produce any driving license as well, though at certain places, height restriction might be a factor. The park has several play areas, sandpits and coin operated rides especially meant for the young visitors. A truly weird place, it allows the kids to enjoy to the fullest.

Dickens World: Victorian Era revisited

Established in: 2007

Inspired by Charles Dickens’s creation, Dickens World primarily aims to revive the ‘Twilight’ books, even if it’s meant for a day. The theme is built around the idea of part punishment and part dumpster diving fun, it brings into life several facets of 18th century England, consisting ugly school teachers, raw and filthy sewage, nasty pickpockets etc.

Established in: 1990

Popular fiction generated character ‘Hello Kitty’, a white Japanese bobtail cat got a massive boost in its popularity followed by the park’s opening in 1990. This indoor theme park, located in Tama New Town, Tokyo comprises of snail paced boat rides, musical shows with songs and laser lights. The park has a detour that takes you through the inner world of Hello Kitty and her dwelling where she is believed to reside with her partner Dear Daniel. One can find actors and performers roaming around disguised as neck less puffy headed cartoons, something kids would find exciting and appealing enough.

 

Grutas Park: Aura of Communism all around

Located at: Dzukija National Park in Lithuania

Established in: 2001

Famously known as Stalin’s World, this park is located in the wetlands of Dzukija National Park in Lithuania. Designed along the theme of Soviet’s capture of Lithuania, it’s more of education and less of amusement. The park is stretched across two mile wooden walkways that are enclosed by barbed wire fences and guard towers to let tourists feel like being inside Gulag prison camp.

Ripped off from some of the most famous characters of Disney, this amusement park in the Chinese capital of Beijing is often thronged by tons of visitors comprising of kids as well as adults. Though the honchos of Disney lashed whips on several structures from time to time, this has not stopped the park administration from closing down the venue. It also features some of the popular Japanese characters.
