If you have a little missy and you want to decorate her room in a splendid way but are falling short of ideas, then here are quick tips and tricks to your rescue. There is not much of a difference in decorating a room, for gender is not that big a criteria.
Though, it may appear that girls can be a bit more creative and may need some more space for making their own little niche, the room can be decorated tastefully. Just keep in mind all possible aspects and you would be ready with a room in no time.

1)Choose a theme
The first thing which needs to be done is to select a theme for her room. Paint it in the way she wants it to be. May it be in the shades of her favorite fairy tale, or the colors right out her favorite cartoon! Tastefully choose the theme, enlightening her little mind with the various makeshift stories.
2) Colors
Choosing the perfect color can always be a cause of dilemma for the parents. To ease the confusion, you can probably take your li’l angel into confidence. Try and indulge in soft hues, like pastel shades of yellow, lavender, pink. Being light colors, they would add that extra glamor to her room. If she wants a scene right out of her fairy tale, indulge your little one. This is the age for them to play around. Don’t restrict their imagination. Let the creativity flow.
3)Framed Artwork on the Wall
If you want to make her feel really special, then this is the way to do so. In case she has made some paintings in her play school and is really proud of them, hang them up on her wall. This is a great way to help her vent out those hidden talents. It’s never too late to start dreaming. Alongside, you can probably add a neat little painting or sculpture, something to ease the colors into the surroundings.
4)Dress up clothes as décor
This can be the favorite option for all parents. In an effort to prevent clothes from getting wrinkled, you can display her favorite clothes on hooks in the room. As mentioned, this would serve a dual purpose. It would add to the charisma of the room and prevent the clothes from getting wrinkled as well. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
5)Window Seat
Reading is an important hobby. Create a little nook for her, where she can spend some quality time with herself and her books. A window seat or a cozy little corner can help. Prop up some cushions and it would be as good as done.
6)Large Colorful Boxes
Boxes would make the room look bigger and prove to be an asset also. Put them in a corner, and she can decorate them the way she wants. The color would add to the variety.

7)Furniture
Throw in some comfy chairs for her to sit and day dream on, paint on or simply play around. A set of two chairs and a table should suffice, depending on the space in the room.
8)Accessorize
Finally, all you need to do is, sprinkle some finishing touches to the room. Rev it up with some small book cases filled with her favourite story books. Add fancy curtains and decorate the room with lights if required. Make her make some drawings on the walls if she desires. Let her free with her imagination and watch as she evolves into a fine young lady.
