Exploring the rotation and balance between totally organic shapes and linear ones, the Split Twig Lamp straddles both the boundaries. Designed by Samuel Johnson, the single lamp breaks down into seven main components, where the main body and arm mold into three sections. The lamp is capable of holding a bulb in each arm so that the lights can be moved or kept static as well. The lamps are designed so that every component sits at 10 degrees from the component opposite to it, which gives a level of controlled asymmetry, making them look different from wherever you look at them.
