Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures, that blew kids off their feet in 2011, is all set to storm up the gaming arena with its modified version. This numero uno game’s protagonist Spyro and his friends, the original Skylanders, believed to be ‘Giants’ were thrust into Earth after thrashing Kaos and machines and since then they are staying back on Earth being buried underground. With the Fall of 2012, Kaos is expected to be back on being called by his war machines. The Skylanders face an arduous task of jostling Giants back to Skylands.
The Game
The game ‘Skylanders Giants’ consists of eight giants, one of each element and another eight normal sized additional Skylanders. These giants feature twice their normal size than what they were in the previous version and will easily play along with the existing game portal. This game supports single as well as multiplayer mode. The version 1.0 of Skylanders character retains much of their power, hats, levels etc. At the same time, players can also expect certain enhancements in the character’s powers and levels, mainly introduced to steam up the excitement machine. Players are also going to witness the return of several fans and favorite ancillary Spyro’s characters like Flynn (Boom), Cali, Eon and many more. They will team up with the Giants to add more muscle in their mission of defeating Kaos. However, players should take a note that the Giants characters cannot be played in the Spyro’s Adventure game.

The game will detain most of the features of its previous version i.e. portal, game disc, 3 figures and web codes. The sole distinct feature is going to be one of those 3 figures in the form of a Giant and the rest 2 Giants, being newly designed are regular-sized Skylanders. The rest of features appear to be quite similar. And yes, this game will come packed with a starter’s kit without the portal, meant for rookie players. Touted as one of the most absorbing games, it would keep players glued till the climax.
