These come with an eco mode base and allows you to adjust its backlight module to standard or optimized mode easily. Thus, it conserves lighting power and extends the life of your monitor.

The eco friendly LCD is energy efficient as compared to the Cathode Florescent Lamps (CFL) as it creates much purer white level and hence a much larger color gamut. While traditional monitors produce approximately 82 percent of the NTSC standard, eco friendly LCD backlight monitors can display 114 percent. Another cool bit of the Samsung eco friendly LCD monitor is that it requires no warm up time. Therefore, it saves you time to wait for your monitor to stabilize and display proper colors.
Perfect power saver for students as well as office users, the mercury free SyncMaster 70 Series will be available in 20 and 23-inch models. In addition, it touts the vibrant contrast ratio of 50,000:1 with a 2ms panel response time.
