Samsung has joined hands with T-Mobile Netherlands to bring the S3030 Eco slider phone. Samsung has tried to contribute to the environment with its newest and greenest phone made from renewable materials. Remember the S3030 Tobi model launched about six months ago aiming to attract younger phone users? The S3030 Eco is the remake of the Samsung S3030 Tobi slider phone.
The phone’s casing is made entirely of recycled materials, while the phone is free of PVC and bromide flame-retardants (BFR) to adapt itself as a bio-plastic phone. It also has an eco-friendly charger that decreases the total charge time, while its packaging is made from fully recyclable materials.
Among its features are its 1.9-inch diagonal display, an MP3 player, FM radio and support for a Bluetooth interface. It also includes a 1.3MP camera and a slot for a microSD memory card supporting up to 8GB of memory. The Samsung S3030 Eco is available in the Dutch market for almost 90 Euros. Others need to wait.
