Is it justified to use the word âgreenâ for a radio that is made up of 80% wood? Well, just because it has a solar panel to it doesnât mean one can bring down trees, implant a solar panel, and add the word âgreenâ to the final outlook. Undoubtedly, wood is a carbon-neutral product, but does chopping down trees for a product that can easily be made from better green materials makes it green? Wood can be âgreenâ in only two cases; either it is recycled, or it comes from a sustainably managed source (FSC- certified). Anyway, the top left button turns the radio âonâ and controls the volume, while the top right button changes the radio frequencies. Iâm not too sure about the one beneath.
