The Titanic, as does not need to be mentioned, is one of the greatest symbols of what pride and arrogance can do to a man. However, of all the pictures that have been clicked of the Titanic, this picture is most significant, owing to the fact that it portrays the beauty of the leviathan, that got destroyed in the depths of human ignorance.
The first human footprint on the moon, is perhaps one of the most scintillating picture ever clicked, for the humongous achievement that it signifies, and also the phrase that went with the photo, the saying that became the keyword for a million lips. The photo stands as a beacon of a bygone time when man out of his power of will, made the seemingly impossible possible.
The fourth is an infamous photo of a soldier kissing a nurse on the aftermath of the end of the Second World War, taken in Times Square. Apparently, the soldier and the nurse are strangers, but this just shows us the jubilation and the celebrations that broke out, as well as the dissipation of boundaries in the aftermath of the end of the War, where every man and woman became a singular race.
