Celebs are going green and it’s really encouraging to see that! Soon after Brad Pitt (via Make It Right) introduces green duplexes in and around New Orleans, Guy Ritchie does somewhat the same overseas. Ritchie looks forward to turn his coy mansion i.e. the Ashcombe House in Wiltshire, UK into an eco-friendly green dwelling. Well, he’s up to a more serious job this time; definitely more serious than directing. It would be nice to see how he fares in performing the green renovating rituals this time around.
No doubt, his separation form Madonna is definitely agonizing; his reunion to nature is still equally heartening. Now, he wants to make some changes to his country home. He plans to grow vegetables, fruits and vines, as Daily Mail says. To realize his purposes, he proposes to build three greenhouses with under soil heating via woodchip boiler within the staff block. The greenhouse is expected to cost around £250,000 (US $400,000).
Apart from it, the water butts around the greenhouses will collect rainwater to be used for self-sustaining irrigation purpose.
However, Ritchie might have to hang around a little since his drafted plans are still waiting for approval at Wiltshire Council.
