Recently Sven Sauer has designed a stylish Blue-Crystal architecture on the offshore of Dubai, which gives you an idea of bright variety of water and its beauty. Sauer in his architecture has included ballrooms on five levels, underwater lounges and restaurants, designed into a three- dimensional iceberg, which connects water, light and sound together.

Blue crystal had maintained a link between architecture and water.
• Blue Gold: Blue crystal joins the organic forms found in the nature with the structure of ice. The structure is built in an Arabic ornamental style, which creates a peaceful atmosphere for the outside spectators to grab the life within.
• Cold core: A glassy cylinder passes through the organic area of the building and acts as a channel of light. The inner cubicles of the building are flooded with the natural light.
• Blue lounge: The heleostatic structure fixed in the crystal walls binds the sun’s rays causing them to glow.
• Water- sund- picture: The central elements of the Blue lounge are its seated areas with its interactive tables where the projection interacts with the watery surface of the table. Visitors have an option to play with the sound, which is visualized within the table.
• Trace: In some areas, the footprints of the visitors are noticed through a tracking system. The visitors of the Blue crystal leave their spot on the organic environs.
• Shining time: The Blue Crystal stands in direct contrast with the darkness around; shining in full glory. It keeps on adding hues to its exteriors as hour’s fleet by. Hence, it provides a great sight to the spectators on the mainland.
• Shining waterway: Blue crystal is connected with the mainland by a buoy string, reachable by shuttles. As the shuttle passes each buoy, it interacts and lights the pathway of the Blue Crystal.
• Energy: The energy is supplied with the help of solar system present outside the building. The core function of the cooling system works separately.
Resilience
The threat to this architecture may be come from the ship that crosses by but to overcome this many ships have trained crewmembers and are informed before hand of any potential threat. It resembles an iceberg but is more durable than it.
Floating structure not so green
Designers may take pleasure in transforming the icebergs but what they need to remember is that they have destroyed the marine lives. Due to this, many marine animals have perished and many have changed their route leading to the reduction of inhabitants. Moreover, during construction, the materials thrown in the water contribute to the water pollution and affect the human life too.
